You will start your tour in the Dumbo district, one of the first districts to industrialize and pave the way for the “Walled City” (nickname given to the Brooklyn waterfront). After learning some fun facts associated with Mr Gair and the factories nestled between 2 iconic bridges, head to Red Hook by crossing Brooklyn Bridge Park. Then you will discover the story of 2 boats illustrating the activity of the port of New York, and the basins of Red Hook along its charming cobblestone streets and converted factories. We will finish in style by crossing the neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill then Brooklyn Heights, the first upscale neighborhood of Brooklyn, dear to Truman Capote, Marilyn Monroe and Henry Miller. Cherry on the cake : the breathtaking views from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade !

Your guided bike tour of Central Park takes place in a small group with a maximum of 10 people, in order to prioritize conviviality and your experience. Your English speaking guide is a local Brooklyn guide. This off-the-beaten-track tour of Brooklyn costs $75 per person for a 3.5 hour guided tour covering 4 neighborhoods of Brooklyn with a stop at the water’s edge for a drink and a toilet break. Electric bikes are also available for an additional $35.
The tour in small group format is subject to a minimum of 4 participants. If fewer than 4 participants are registered then Your New York Story reserves the right to offer another time slot or refund the visit.
